In the spring of 2024, Alan Snyder reached out to registered Democrats across Butler County with a simple goal: reconnect local Democrats and revitalize the county party. That effort brought four Democrats to the county caucus, where Alan was elected Chair and Megan was elected Vice Chair.

What began as a small gathering quickly grew into a renewed organization.
Since then, the Butler County Nebraska Democrats have established regular monthly meetings, expanded membership, and built a growing network of engaged citizens committed to strengthening our communities and increasing civic participation throughout the county.
Today, our organization continues to grow as more neighbors come together to support local engagement, community involvement, and a stronger future for Butler County.

We actively support Democratic candidates at the local, state, and national levels and work alongside the Nebraska Democratic Party to advance Democratic values and build stronger communities throughout Butler County.
